In this game your bidding on which creatures you think will still remain at the end of the game. The sooner you commit to a creature the more points you can get, but its also more likely that your creature will die. Additionally, you're playing cards with different strength values. When all creatures have a card played under them the weakest one dies and you move on to the next round.

Quick and easy to learn. We all had fun enough where we played a second time. It's great as a longer filler game.
